Where it all began
In 1987, the world witnessed a mystical event — the supernova 1987A. In January of that same year on the island of Ibiza (Spain), Ra Uru Hu received a vast transmission that became the Human Design System, a 21st-century approach to self-knowledge.
This revolutionary framework synthesises ancient wisdom — the I'Ching, the Hindu-Brahmin Chakra system, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, and Eastern/Western Astrology — with modern science — the Science of Neutrinos, Genetics and Physics. The result is a unique genetic map that reveals the nature of your being: the Human Design BodyGraph.

The four Types
Type is the essence of Human Design. It grounds the most practical, transformative guidance: your Strategy and Authority.
Generators — the Builders (≈70%)
Strategy: Wait to respondLife force of the planet. When they initiate instead of responding, frustration follows. By responding, they find deep satisfaction and offer their work as a gift to the world.
Manifestors — the Initiators (≈9%)
Strategy: Inform before actingDesigned to make an impact and catalyse others. When they cannot move in peace, anger arises. Their gift to the world is initiating.
Projectors — the Guides (≈20%)
Strategy: Wait for recognition & invitationBuilt to understand others and offer guidance. Taking initiative without recognition often meets resistance and rejection, leading to feeling undervalued.
Reflectors — the Discerners (≈1%)
Strategy: Wait a lunar cycle (≈28 days)Judges of humanity, reflecting the health of communities. When they rush, disappointment appears. Their gift is seeing the details with clarity.
Definition
Some designs have no definition (Reflectors). Others have a single flow — or two, three or four distinct areas (splits). Understanding how your energy connects within — and with others — explains your way of processing, relating and being.
